Not often do I get blown away by a sandwich/toasty, but today I was - actually considering not going out for dinner as anything after this afternoon’s coffee and toasty will most likely be a letdown. The flavours where intense, balanced and the crunch, just perfect!!! 👏👏👏 Can’t wait to stop by again…

Whilst was cooking up a storm today, I was given one of my favourite jobs. Prepping the flowers 🌸 Although my time is usually just spent pulling out a few weeds here and there at the allotment, it was such a pleasure to pop over to collect the pretty extras that will adorn tonight’s dishes. Such a simple task but with a massive ‘feel good’ factor.
Peppery rocket flowers, spicy nasturtiums and the beautifully blue borage 💙

Whether you’re after a private dining experience for a special occasion, or just the pure pleasure of hosting a relaxed evening in your own home without the additional expense of high prices for fine wines (and childcare if you have young children) - I’m all about creating great tasting food that’s a feast for your eyes, and of course for your appetite.

I am extremely passionate about food and for many years have enjoyed nothing more than serving delicious, mouth-watering dishes to my family and friends. After being persuaded by many of my dinner guests to take my passion for all things culinary to a different level, I have recently launched my catering business to make a career out of my life-long obsession with great food.

At SimplyBruce, I offer fine dining (up to 20 guests) in your own home in the Surrey area, and am also looking to launch a Dining Club, in our personal dining room at our home in Wonersh.

While fine dining is what I specialise in, I also offer a range of cooking classes – from Decadent Desserts and Ravenous Roasts to Mummy & Me and Daddy & Me classes for you to enjoy with your children.
