Only five weeks until our ONE SPRING AFTERNOON FESTIVAL - 2024. I can't tell you how excited I am to be hosting such an extraordinary afternoon of live music down by the lake at the University of Surrey. Join us for this FREE event from midday on Saturday 18th May 2024.

Our very special guests include:
Luca Mo ••• Scott Freeman ••• The True Deceivers ••• Luke Fraser ••• BEMIS ••• Anouska Assisi ••• Hannahgram-music ••• TIM SHEZ MUSIC ••• Talia Simone Music ••• and The Velveteen Orkestra.

The afternoon will be hosted by Gavin Thomas and we will be raising funds for the Samaritans charity. This glorious day of live music is part of the University of Surrey Students' Union's FreeFest event, and will include live music, food stalls, a fully licensed bar, children's entertainment, free parking, and much more. 🙏😎🌞

The GT Live Sessions are overjoyed to finally announce our incredible line-up for ONE SPRING AFTERNOON FESTIVAL - 2024. This FREE event, featuring TEN exceptional local acts, will be taking place on two outdoor stages at the University of Surrey Lake on Saturday 18th May 2024 - from 12.00am until 6.30pm.

*PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE*

We have had confirmation that the University of Surrey Students' Union have changed the date of their Freefest festival from the 11th to the 18th May. Our One Spring Afternoon festival makes up the afternoon part of this event, and I'm writing to let you all know of this date change.
Once I've had confirmation that all of our acts can make the change I will be announcing our incredible line-up. In the meantime, please make sure that Saturday 18th May is now the date in your diary for .

ONE SPRING AFTERNOON FESTIVAL - 13/05/23 -

This is the sixth year that the GT Live Sessions have teamed up with the University of Surrey Students' Union, staging the afternoon section of the FREEFEST music festival at University of Surrey Lake.
will be taking place on Saturday 13th May, and I'm thrilled to announce that our performers will be:
Cloudcat ... The 802 ... Tom Gortler ... Darragh ... Sandy McLelland ... Lauren & Hardy ... Bryony Dunn ... KB Bayley Songs ... and Dean Parker.
The live music will run across two stages down by the lake at the University of Surrey, from 11.00am until 4.00pm on Saturday 13/05, hosted by Gavin Thomas. We will have a fully-licensed bar, food stalls, children's entertainment, and entrance for the whole day will be completely FREE. We will be raising money through the afternoon for The Brain Tumour Charity.
The One Spring Afternoon part of the day will finish at 4.00pm, and the live music will continue until 11.00pm.
It's going to be a fabulous day of live music, raising money for a wonderful cause. Put it in your diary, spread the word, and I'll see you there. 🤍💚 xx

💚 *BREAKING NEWS* 💚
We're thrilled to be able to announce that the GT Live Sessions One Spring Afternoon festival will be taking place on Saturday 13th May 2023. The gorgeous team at the University of Surrey Students' Union has invited us back to be part of the University of Surrey's FreeFest festival, so PLEASE get the date in your diaries. Gavin Thomas will be hosting nine amazing live music acts between 11.00am and 4.00pm on two outdoor stages looking out across University of Surrey Lake. The USSU will continue the music through the evening, with the festival finishing at 11.00pm. There will be a fully licensed bar, food stalls, giant inflatables and children's entertainment throughout the day, and the whole thing is absolutely FREE. will be raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity in the name of the mighty Dee Coley (bass player of The True Deceivers) who passed away a year ago. (DeeFest at Guildford City Club - In Memory of Dee Coley will be taking place on the same day as , and we hope that some of you will be able to enjoy both events). 🙏💚

We had to abandon One Spring Afternoon this year due to fall-out from the Covid restrictions. But we're thrilled to be staging an identical day of live music at University of Surrey Lake THIS Sunday 5th June. Join us from 12.00pm for a unique line-up of GT Live Sessions acts on two stages, with the stunning lake as our back-drop. Fully licensed bar / food stalls / kids' entertainment.
