I can confirm we all cried 🥹🥹

Why do people choose me for their big day? Well, I can't give you every reason, but I think one has to be the services I provide.

Bekki and Ashley contacted me back in January to provide them with my outdoor ceremony and meal package at Stemster House for their big day. Over the last few months we've discussed what they all wanted and needed.

This week, as we were finalising the music for the ceremony, and on Thursday Bekki asked if I could play a voice note from their children just before I played her entrance music, and of course I said I would.

When she sent me the voice notes, I had a brain wave. Bekki wanted her entrance song to start as a specific point, but I suggested why don't I play the song from the start, but I'll remove the vocals from the first bit, and instead play the cutest voice note ever over it, ending with her son saying "Here comes mummy!", just before her entrance? She agreed, thinking it would be brilliant.

A bit of editing and reworking later, the track was ready. And do you know what? On the day it worked better than anyone imagined. Infact it was so cute that if anyone there said they had a dry eye, they were lying.

Hope everyone is doing good, we're seriously missing the banter 🤣.

Just a wee update on where we're at with the shop....

We've had a meeting with the loss adjuster on Monday so everything is in hand with the insurance at the moment and we're finally able to start clearing damaged bits out etc 😊

Work wise....

We want to say a massive thank you to the council who have been a great help and got an inspector out to Wends kitchen in Halkirk , which I'm happy to say we've passed and can officially cook/bake from there for now 😁

We've got a couple of wee exciting plans/ideas going forwards, more on that once we've got things finalised 😏 but for now if anyone has any catering needs, give us a shout and we will hopefully be able to help 😁

When a ‘Stemster House couple’ make the best wax melts ever, a collaboration was always going to be on the cards!

Amy and Niall at Highland Home Aromas made the process so easy! Their passion for what they do shone through as we discussed scents and we couldn’t be happier with our custom ‘Love Blossoms’ wax melts.

The first of these will be gifted to couples discussing booking their big day with us during our open day on Sunday.

Jacqueline from Stemster House reached out to us seeking custom made wax melts for her wedding venue and couples tying the knot there.

We discussed her preferences and favourite fragrances and even created a custom label for her. We're thrilled with the final product and are excited to introduce her bespoke creation:

‘Love Blossoms’

Each packet containing a lovely pair of heart shaped soy wax melts.

Having celebrated our own wedding at this wonderful venue, Amy and I wholeheartedly recommend Stemster House.

This week our team has the honour of attending Confetti Wedding Awards It was an absolute shock to be selected as a finalists in the Outdoor Wedding Venue category in our first year but our team work so hard to provide the best for our couples they definitely deserved the recognition and to have some fun after working so hard all season!

Earlier this month Jacqueline was fortunate enough to be one of 27 under 35s chosen to be part of the Scottish Agritourism development programme. Escaping to the Scottish capital for a couple of days. During this time she met some inspiring people who are involved in all aspects of agritourism. The group spent some time visiting the amazing @craigies_farm_shop, which is worth a visit! We also met with various MSPs and civil servants to discuss the issues affecting agriculture, agritourism and young entrants. It was an inspiring experience and one she is very proud to be a part of.

We were honoured to play a small part in Chloe and Gavin's day yesterday, when they joined us for their bridal party photos.
