Tonight’s office is the rather lovely Harlow Rugby
Club, working for one of my longest-serving clients, Attwaters Jameson Hill.
They raise funds every year for worthy causes and this time around it’s the Rainbow Trust.

And they’ve already welcomed me with drinks and sweets! Lots of people here, it’s gonna be a good one!

What a wonderful turnout at last night’s charity quiz event at Saxon Hall in Southend.
15 teams, over 120 people and a really lovely vibe all night long.
The venue is one of the nicest I’ve hosted in too.

I hope the fella who confused Idris Elba with Trevor Nelson has recovered this morning!

I genuinely hope to be back there very soon!

Tonight is the first Inquizition of the year and also we celebrate two years of fun quiz nights at The Olde Dog Inn in Herongate.
I remember the very first one with both fond and distressing memories! The quiz itself was a great success, however halfway through the show I went blind in one eye! Nothing to do with the pub (shame, ‘where there’s blame there’s a claim’) but I managed to complete the show in monovision. Driving home was an adventure too…but totally legal I hasten to add!

I hope you can join us this evening, or book yourself a table on the last Thursday of any month and show the world how truly clever you are.

Just in case you are about to book your places at the 80s v 90s Quiz & Party this Friday at the Civic Hall, Grays...due to absolutely no fault of mine, the event has been cancelled.
This is sadly the second time this has happened in the last couple of years and therefore I won't be committing to any further quiz events at the venue for the foreseeable future.

On a much brighter note however, we're still going very strong at The Olde Dog Inn every month (last Thursday) and I've also taken on a contract with David Lloyd Fitness Centre at Cambridge, which is growing very nicely every month!
