Please note that Peebles High Street will be closed from 12 noon on Sunday 1st December from the Traffic Lights at Costa to the junction of the roundabout at the Parish Church.

There will be no parking from 10 am that morning to allow the street to be cleared to allow build up from 12 noon of the Market Stalls and Funfair.

The diversion route is as posted in the graphic below.

The street will reopen at 9 pm.

Attending our Switch on event is Reid’s amusements 😃🎠🎡 and also, there will be a mini decorated tractor display, doing a lap of Queen Street and King Street, just after the switch on 🚜🎉🚜✨..fun for all the family!!

Getting closer to our Big Fireworks Night on Saturday (2 November). This year, Reid's Amusements will be in attendance with their children's rides, and to add a wee bit more excitement, a Miami ride (like the one on Civic Day) will also be running. Food outlets include 'Burgers' from Gallovant and 'Pizzas' from the Pizza Wagon. Mr Whippy will also be there if you need a little Ice Cream.

If you are travelling to Dalbeattie by car, please park with consideration and avoid obstructing driveways and road junctions.

This event is FREE to enter. However, donations will be gratefully accepted by our bucket collection crew.

Finally, if Sparklers are being used, please dispose of the remnants thoughtfully.

Reid's Amusements will be operating with the Mega Inflatable playarea at Straiton Place Park Portobello from 10th of October until 21st of October every day from 10.00am until 6pm🛝🛝🎢🎡🏖🏖🙋‍♂️🙋‍♂️

The cost of the Mega Inflatable playarea will be £4 for 10 mins. Depending on capacity everyone always get extra.

Come on down to Dock Park and enjoy the last few days of the The Inflatable Playarea it's here until Tuesday the 20th of August.

We have just had our prize winners down to have a free play on the inflatable.
