What an action packed month we have here at the CORE!

Tonight is our very popular Bingo followed next week by our bi-monthly Quiz night

On 12th October District Councillor Trevor Graham will be holding a council surgery where you can talk to him about any issues you have with council services.

The on 18th we have our "ribbon cutting" for our VESPA project, now the solar panels are on the roof. There's a free glass of wine and nibbles that evening so you won't want to miss that! 😉

And then on 26th it's the return of the fabulous Hallowscream Family Party with Barrie Thornton Children's Entertainer and Time Trax Disco which is bigger than ever this year. Tickets are on sale now so snap them up while you can!

So our big project has started, you may be wondering how did VESPA come about and what does it mean!

And no we’re not buying mopeds for everyone to scoot around on lol

VESPA stands for Village Energy Sustainability Analysis.

Having failed to deliver the beer necessary for the Bell to operate as a pub, Stonegate have claimed breach of contract when Paul was forced to source it elsewhere and have served him an eviction notice. Support Paul and his family and keep the Bell open!

Today we learned that despite being open and still being in talks with the owners, Paul and his family who run the Wortwell Bell are facing eviction if an agreement cannot be reached. They don't want this and no one in the village wants this!
