Feeling proud to work for a company committed to putting people first, that's staff and customers alike.. And strong enough to act on those beliefs.
Yes, it's a massive inconvenience to us all being closed, and without notice so we couldn't prepare, but I guess we all knew it was likely and coming !.
But seemingly being one of only very few builders merchants prepared to put people and the countries health before profit, really does underline the Buildbase mantra, " it's our people that make our business great ".
Stay safe people, if we can all lock down now, hopefully we, you and everyone else can re ignite our businesses in 3 weeks time, if we don't act together now, it could be longer !

Hi all, and thanks for visiting our page.
As of today, 24th March, inline with government guidelines, we will remain closed for three weeks. No deliveries or collections will be allowed during this time. Obviously we fully apologise for any inconvenience, but this is a unique set of circumstances, and it is to benefit us all in the long term.
We are truly sorry if we've been forced to break any promises given in good faith, but the speed of this lockdown has taken us all by surprise.
Please keep yourselves safe, and at home, and we look forward to picking back up when we return.

Following the announcement by the UK Prime Minister this evening, we have taken the decision to close all our branches (including for deliveries) on Tuesday 24th March.
The Grafton Group will use this time to liaise with Government advisors to agree if we can continue to operate in a safe and responsible manner of trading that complies with the letter and spirit of the announcement. This will enable Buildbase to continue providing vital repair and maintenance products over the next three weeks.
A further announcement will follow during the day.
