After 30 years and many business awards, locally, regionally, and nationally – 18 years as Wishing-U-Well and 12 years as Blue Rose Gifts & Balloons, we are CLOSING DOWN !

ONLY 7 WEEKS TO GO ………

Unfortunately, post-COVID, fuel crisis, cost of living crisis, wage increases, and shopping habits changing to Amazon / China etc have had a cumulative effect on our small local business as some factors have lasted longer than anticipated.

Customers are, rightly, saving what money they have for necessities, bills and families. Or shopping online to save money, or for convenience, which will in time affect small businesses and contribute to more shops closing on the high street. We will, therefore, join Spring Hill Hospice, Shepherds Cycles, Morris Property, Domestic Appliances, China Shop and more that have closed in Heywood.

We are closing on 28th October, leaving less than 7 weeks to get any bargains.

We are rearranging the shop and getting all the seasonal stock out.
If you want a bargain, then come and get all your Christmas cards and gift bags at 25% the cost !

The balloons and parties will be continued but not in the shop the rest will be sold and discounted.

I would like to say thank you to my amazing team that has been with me through thick and thin, past and present staff have been amazing over the years. I could not have been part of the town's events 1940s Day, Light Switch on Parade, Charities Fete and many other charity contributions, without them.

To all our customers, many of whom have been regulars for years if not decades, it was a pleasure to be part of your many celebrations. It will leave a hole in the town I know and be a shock for some as we always seemed to be here and everyone's last-minute saviour, but our time has come to an end in the shop.
