Well here we go for our inaugural visit to we had a lovely couple of days getting set up in such a beautiful Lakeland festival site, here’s to a great weekend!

100% and 100% baked to perfection. This is the top seller so far at and is our Mighty ‘Garlic Butter Mushroom Mac’. We spend hours pre-season in our prep kitchen perfecting our recipes and hand crafting the toppings we bring out to you all summer. Once again; we bake our Mac. We don’t just stir in sauce. Because if something’s worth doing; it’s worth doing properly.

All this talk of the summer festivals this week but don’t forget we’re once again at with our street food set up next week from Thursday onwards. This is a brilliant event with some fantastically curated food and drink from some local and UK wide producers. It’s a bit of an honour to be asked to be on the line up as it’s a recognition we can still mix it up with the best in the street food game! 😉

Bangin’ Mac Since 2014

We get asked all the time how we make our Mac. So here you go!

Our secret (such as we have one) is that we *bake* our mac - where others simply boil pasta, stir in a cheese sauce and sprinkle a bit of crumb on top; we *bake* to a crunch... Like all good things we believe luxury doesn't lie in the extravagant - but in the simple things done well, so when we make our Mac, every single pan gets the same treatment;

We boil our Macaroni pasta, then wash and drain it

We put our mac into a large roasting tray and then stir through our unique recipe béchamel which contains Worcester sauce, garlic, english Mustard and smoked paprika (to name just a few) along with handfuls and handfuls of Cheddar, Mozzarella, Blue Cheese and Italian Hard Cheese (we no longer use Parmesan - so breathe easy Veggies).
