This morning we've got a small meeting with the members wives here. They always add little decorations to the table in keeping with the time of year.

I wonder if they might miss 1 bunny🤔

Something a bit different for our hall today. A 1yrs old birthday party. Great job to , they did such a great job. Well cared for equipment and really quickly assembled.

Here at the hall, we just received our first ever postcard from Wally the goat. Wally used to work at the hall, but took early retirement to go on his travels. Wonder where he's heading to next???

Tonight, we held the first ever "Masonic Hall Big Quiz," and it was a success. We managed to raise £480 for charities. £240 goes back to the hall. As you can imagine, a grade 2 listed building needs constant maintenance, so any contributions towards the upkeep are always welcomed and very appreciated.

The remaining £240 went back to the winning team. The winners of this year's quiz were Christchurch, who would like to donate their prize money to

Thanks to all who participated and those who didn't, but still contributed. We had such a good night. We are looking forward to the next one already.

This week hired out our hall again, to train some students. Dan the trainer was excellent, don't think I have ever heard so much laughter during a training course. Even though they had fun, they all managed to pass to. Congratulations to your students and a big well done to Dan. We hope to host your sessions at the hall again soon. Always a pleasure.

1/9/23 we had another wedding. Such a great night. Once again "we" as staff got to meet some of the nicest people. Always a pleasure. The bride and groom set up the dining hall beautifully. Not to forget a mention to their menu choice. Couldn't not take a picture of those desserts. Congratulations Harry & Chloe, thankyou for choosing to hold your wedding with us. It's been an absolute pleasure.

This weekend the special occasion was a 90th birthday, complete with reception drinks, a hot buffet and prosecco for toasts. Still plenty of mid week or weekends available if your looking to hire a hall. The dining room comes with decorations if your looking for a Christmas booking.

Another themed night tonight. This time a Trafalgar night. Complete with memorabilia, sea shanties and a tot of navy rum. Hats off to the organisers for this one. Great night had by all.

The hall was hired out for a charity do tonight, for MSUK. Hopefully the customers had as good a night as the bar staff did. It was a ladies only night and the only man there was the poor DJ🙈🤣. Great bunch of ladies. Thankyou for the laughs and thankyou to for hiring us. It was a pleasure.

We were hired out for a lovely ladies 50th birthday this evening. Just had to share what a brilliant job they made of decorating the hall. Also, what a pleasure this evening was to work. Cheers🥂 and happy birthday to the host. Also thank you to your guests, for making this evening so much fun to work.
