Often guests think our beer, wines and spirits would be expensive as we are in a rural area and exclusive private events.

We can promise you they are not - our prices are a like for like to The Kings Head in Hedon, who are known for great value off the street bar prices. Just so you know 😁

Lovely quirky head table on the stage with another new addition for the reception of our Tall Welcome Mirror, a dressed hoop for the terrace and our new centre pieces - the latest been our requested fish bowls filled with water and lit candles.

A POLITE REMINDER

3 weeks ago we had 2 dogs off leads attacking the Turkey and hen, losing a lot of feathers after the attack and now wont come out of their enclosures - this weekend another dog chasing the cat in his own home, who's now up a tree and scared to come down.

If you are staying in the holiday lets or camping, dogs must be on a lead at all times.

Jacky booked Pitch 21 to hold their beautiful Life Celebration for Sherean.

As we were preparing the venue we visited kings head in Hedon and people were saying you have Shereans wake today don’t you . Then popped in to Jones’s in Preston to pick up the sausage rolls and scones for the buffet and staff there talking about Sherean.

With over 80 of Shereans family and friends who attending yesterday she sure was a very well popular lady indeed.

A country themed wedding with tractors on the tables wild flowers and a Shire horse rig, made their entrance to Pitch 21 a wow factor.
Married at Hedon church followed by a afternoon and evening celebrating to such a wonderful couple.

Howard's memorial - 9th May 2024

Wendy came to see us last month to organise her husbands memorial.
Howard and Wendy used to be celebrants so Wendy knew exactly how she wanted to do her beloved husbands memorial day.
Carol Minns started the day off singing You Never Walk Alone, along with Gavin and Wendy reminiscing the life of Howard with a moving speech, with some funny bits thrown in, followed by Lynda and Alison on the stage singing some more songs.

Wendy and Howards friends travelled from near and far for this and we have to say it was the most magical day.
