Royal British Legion Scotland Kirkwall Branch

H.M.S Royal Oak - 84th anniversary memorial service

The memorial service & wreath laying will be held in the garden of remembrance, Scapa, at 09.30 hours, on Saturday 14th October.

A coach will depart the Kirkwall Legion at 09.00 hours for Scapa.

After the service anyone attending can board the launch at Scapa pier & travel out to the wreck site ( weather permitting) to place wreaths/ flowers over the resting place of H.M.S Royal Oak. No plastic wreaths to be placed in the sea.
On return to land the coach will transport all back to the legion for lunch and refreshments.

We look forward to seeing you.
