One advantage of gardening daily in preparation for Open Gardens next weekend is spotting changes in real time. This beautiful iris stood out proudly among the foxgloves as a luscious thick dark bud and yesterday it started to open. Will she be at her best next weekend? It’s Friday, the week before Chelsea and the sun is shining ( for now🤞) And BBC Gardeners World is on tonight. So much going on in the garden and out and about, loving this years display of Cow Parsley. ❤️

This week, we're off to Glasgow to meet mother-and-daughter team, Louisina and Lauren Printy Currie, as they prepare to make their debut at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Find out what they have in mind this Friday at 8pm on BBC Two 💐

Baby Wilson is due any day now! 🩵 So throughout May and part of June, we will just be open from Monday to Friday so that I can spend time with my family getting to know our newest member. Charlotte and Hayley will be manning the shop and will help with all of your flowery needs and I will be popping in from time to time to say hello! (Please note that I will still be working on weddings so this does not affect any wedding bookings throughout this time) I’m aiming to be back to opening on Saturdays from mid June, probably after the Bed Race as we usually close that day anyway.

I can’t wait to introduce our newest team member to all of our lovely customers and friends soon!!
