Hi, my name is Rebekah and this short clip will share just a little bit about my placement year as a Digital Dance Artist with the Institute of Creative Technologies (IOCT). This transformative experience has amplified my artistic horizons, allowing me to dive into innovative projects that blur the lines between dance and technology.

The 1st of our soon-to-be graduates is Taylor ๐
My name is Taylor and I have just completed my third year on the BA Dance course at De Montfort University. One of the modules I chose to take while in my third year was university dance company.
For me a highlight of the module was touring the pieces in the local community. We visited the Belgrave Neighbourhood Centre where we had the opportunity to assist the running of a dance workshop to older people. Introducing them to themes we follow in piece they would be watching. Then getting the opportunity to perform our piece to them.
This was very rewarding and enjoyable experience , being able to share our hard work, but also share our love for what we do in the community.

She was equally inspired by the performance training and the community dance practice, being a high achiever in both during her degree programme. After taking a year to further her skills and explore her future pathway it is exciting she has now been accepted into the prestigious JV2 dance training scheme. Wishing her great success!
