Back in the late 1990s, Lavonz began DJing, debuting at Bagley's night club at the age of 14. Infatuated with the urban frequencies of pirate radio, independent record shops and the vibrant club scene. An intrinsic vinyl collection revolved towards the sounds of early UK Garage, House Music resonated the fuel of inspiration for him to carve out a production and RMX discography which stands on a fine body of work to date

In 2020, combining forces with epic underground dance music label A cluster of new releases and Uncut Gems catch the eye. Look out for a big year in 2021. Lavonz (The Akai Don) looks set to mark his territory with a series of strong collaborations and brand new releases in the production line.
