Your lovely words mean a HUGE amount to us both as does everyone who played their part.
So happy to have played a role in preparing some of you for the big wide world, Bullswood also taught us many valuable lessons, and of course we found each other there :))
I’ve had many moments lately feeling like I’d like to push a rewind button to days long gone. The busy 100 player days, loading the van, arriving down at the site a kettle would be boiling thanks to the ever wonderful Chris Millington, they’d likely be a few hangovers lingering, lots of chatter, and then getting games underway - few hours later the legend Sue (best cook & gossip ever + best Collie dogs) would shout LUNCH sausage, burger, beans, mash and a bread roll a can of drink + chocolate bar happy days!
Always on hand with a story (often one we’d heard!) would be site legend Dave Para a man Dan & I will respect always, he had the strength and energy of people half his age.. Although he could sometimes be a little bit shouty! Love you Dave...you often said 'Proper preparation prevents p**s poor performance’ oh so true.
Great years :)
We’ll keep this Bullswood page open always here for memories and contacts, & lovely words that will cheer us always, as we move forward to a new start.
I know we will def see some of you again , always remember you are unique and were part of the best site ever Bullswood. Be happy, hopeful and always be kind.
