He was absolutely brilliant - he kept the children engaged for the whole hour, got them involved in loads of games as part of the treasure hunt and made them laugh loads. Alfie was made to feel really special and he had so much fun. All the children said it was the best party ever! FAVOURITE DRINK: A nice cool soda (sand occasionally something stronger!) 🥤 🥃

FAVOURITE PASTIME: Lassoing around on the open plaines of America’s Midwest. Heaven! 🏜

FAVOURITE COLOUR: It has to be a deep chocolate brown - the colour of his hat (currently light black, but his other hat got a bit scruffy on dusty rail road) and boots. Where would he be without them?! 🥾 🤠

LONG HELD AMBITION: To be a cowboy stunt double in a Hollywood western movie. Trouble is, he can’t stop falling off his horse! 🎥 🎬

SECRET WEAPON: His Clint Eastwood impression - its uncanny! 🙌

NUNHEAD CEMETARY 🪦

Sounds a bit morbid, I know, but as one of South London’s hidden gems, Nunhead Cemetery is well worth a visit! More of why later. Firstly, here’s the history bit…

Nunhead Cemetery is located in, yep, you’ve guessed it, Nunhead. It's one of London’s Magnificent Seven - an informal term applied to seven large private cemeteries situated around London's old boundaries. Consecrated in 1840, it was originally known as All Saints Cemetery and was opened to alleviate burials at nearby south London parishes.

So why visit? Well, it counts a number of ‘famous burials’ amongst its inhabitants (who will you find?), has a magnificent Victorian structure over its Main Gate and boasts impressive views over Central London. Today the cemetery is also a nature reserve with vast woodlands full of wildlife. It’s a wonderful place to go for a solo walk/run or to take the kids or dog for a Sunday stroll. You never know what you might find! Check it out!
