Claudia Villarruel y a todo su equipo, por su excelente labor y compromiso con los empresarios participantes y con todo el desarrollo del proyecto, así mismo al Consejo Regulador del Chile Yahualica por su apoyo y coordinación para lograr el éxito de todos las etapas de esta misión comercial.

Lokita is made from carefully selected ripe Agaves coming from a perfect diversity of terroirs, balancing the mineral profile of southern clay soils and the delicate fruit and floral notes of the highlands of Jalisco.
Agaves are selected by Master distiller Armando Orozco, in terms of sugar content and desired profile. They can be until seven years old and are mainly harvested during dry season (from January to April) to let Agave’s flavors to flourish at their maximum potential.
Agaves are slowly cooked in mampostery ovens, to reinforce the intense expression of their notes. It is double distilled with a mix of copper pot stills and distillation columns to provide the perfect smoothness to your palate.

Master distiller, Armando Orozco, is at the head of the family distillery where Lokita is made, in Jalisco, Mexico.
With over 35 years of experience in the industry as an owner of agave fields and the distillery, Armando meticulously controls the quality of each step of the artisanal manufacturing process: from the selection of agaves, to the cutting, distillation and maturation of Lokita tequila.

SEDECO oversees the promotion and strategic partnerships between Jalisco businesses with international markets and it has worked closely with Tequila & Mezcal Fest to carefully select 20 Mexican Tequila and Mezcal brands to exhibit, marking this the first array for twenty Jalisco businesses to enter the European market in a bid to generate business opportunities, and strengthen economic gains abroad for Jalisco’s home products.
