London: the great European city?
Held in the wake of Sadiq Khan’s election as Mayor of London, The Spectator breakfast at the Ham Yard Hotel in Soho on 20 May 2016 was staged in association with easyJet. Business editor Martin Vander Weyer chaired the discussion and invited the panel to draft an action agenda for the new Mayor. The panel was unanimous in its verdict that improving transport and other infrastructure was crucial to maintaining London’s global status.
