This year is the 10th anniversary of the Harrow Summer Music Festival! 🥳🥳
We're presenting a mixed programme, welcoming new artists and regulars alike, performing music for piano, clarinet, piano trio, string quartet, soprano, flute, cello, guitar. The programmes will include world premieres, music by living composers as well as old favourites. Watch this space for more details soon, and we look forward to welcoming you all on July 11th for our first recital of the season. Thank you all for your continuing support.

Tomorrow's recital: Nina Kopparhed, soprano and Neil Crossland - Concert Pianist and Composer will play the programme "Nature's Delights", featuring songs by Sibelius, Stenhammar, Chaminade, Finzi, Argento, Crossland, Esland and more. As usual, the recital is free entry with a retiring collection. We look forward to seeing you there!

My next recital: I'm really looking forward to singing with the fantastic Neil Crossland again on September 7th. We're bringing a varied programme inspired by nature, featuring music by Hugo Wolf, Sibelius, Neil Crossland, Stenhammar, Argento, Finzi, Anthony Esland, Libby Larsen, Berlioz and Chaminade, as well as Rossini for a fun finale. The recital is free entry with a retiring collection. It'd be really lovely to see you there/then! 🎶

Here is an updated concert programme for the Harrow Summer Music Festival:
the rest of the month of August will feature more beautiful recitals by the following artists:
Mark Wilson, violin and Neil Crossland, Piano: August 10th;
The Chamber Regulars (Anjalika Bardalai, Clarinet, Roger Mo, violin and Sergio Giro, piano) : Aug 17th;
Kirsten Jenson, cello and Neil Crossland on Aug 24th; and
Jelena Makarova, piano on Aug 31st.

All at 12:30 on Thursdays, free entry with retiring collection.
We'll post more about the programmes nearer to the time.

Tomorrow's recital: July 21st at 12:30, St John's, Greenhill.
Julian Saphir, piano:

Julian started playing the piano at the age of four and soon went on to study at the Royal College of Music, with many critically acclaimed concerts following from his graduation. After a long absence from the concert platform he is firmly re-establishing himself as one of Britain’s finest pianists, displaying profound musicianship, virtuosity and the ability to entertain as both soloist and chamber musician.

Tomorrow, Julian will perform a stunning programme featuring Schumann and Liszt.
As usual, it's free entry with a retiring collection.
