Quorn Festival 21st August to 5th September 2021
The Quorn May Fair of previous years has not been possible in 2021 but an exciting alternative is coming up and you are invited to take part. This is an opportunity for your organisation to re-engage with previous members and customers and to find new ones.
Quorn Festival starts on Saturday 21st August 2021 with events in Stafford Park and finishes on Sunday 5th September with the regular Food and Craft Fair. Additional events are already being planned between these dates involving theatre, art, music, outdoor activities, sustainable travel and the involvement of young residents. There are opportunities for others to showcase their activities or recruit new members. The events are being co-ordinated by Quorn Village Community Interest Company (QVCIC)*.
The first event will follow the format of previous years with stands organised by Quorn membership groups and local businesses in Stafford Orchard Park. Space can be booked and QVCIC can help with setting up, including finding gazebos, tables or other facilities if you are unable to provide your own. If you would also like to organise something during the subsequent two weeks, QVCIC will be keeping a calendar of events to help avoid clashes or encourage working with others and to help with the logistics and ensuring that events are well publicised.
We want these events to be an opportunity for Quorn village to get back to a more normal life following a difficult year and for residents to try new experiences whilst reinvigorating the organisations that have struggled during lockdown.

To take part. To book a space or event, (offer sponsorship?) or to find more information, please contact our Secretary on [email protected]

I would like to say thank you to all the people that came to the Yard sale on Sunday. We managed to get to our goal of £50. We will be holding more events like this in the near future and I hope to see us grow and raise even more towards our amazing village charities and voluntary group's.
Be sure to drop us a message if you think we can help you promote your interests.
