Choosing whether to include kids at your wedding day can be a controversial opinion 😬 If you've decided to have a child-free wedding, it's important to make it clear to guests that children aren't invited. Any grey areas may lead to parents assuming their little ones can come along 💍

It's wise to communicate this rule early and politely, here's what we recommend you DO NOT say to the parents...

✨ "We thought you would like a night off"

✨ "Our wedding day will be child free as we want to enjoy the day"

✨ "Some children will be at our wedding but this is an adult only day"

It might be tempting to address the invites to the adults only in the hope that this is obvious enough. But to many, it won't be! ⁠Make sure you are clear and specific when communicating that your wedding is child-free.

How to be a great wedding guest 👀😉 After attending over 100 weddings in 2023 the pet peeve of all the newlyweds we spoke to is guests not paying attention and being distracted during the ceremony 🙃 It seems so simple but the biggest culprits of not paying attention are Apple watches, phones not being silent, TikTok scrolling and not RSVPing on time 😳 Be the best wedding guest this summer wedding season by RSVPing in plenty of time and being 100% present on the day. We've probably met before at a Wedding Fair or if you're already part of the Calleo family I may have come to your wedding in person to film social media content 🤳 One of my favourite weddings last year was Zoe & Whegba's reception at Firle Place

By day I'm a Business & Law university lecturer and working towards a PhD in Human Rights Law 🧑‍⚖️

I'm so passionate about Calleo because of its power to help others remember their loved ones forever. In 2021, I lost my hero, my Grandfather. The one memory I cherish the most from him is a voicemail. This voicemail ignited the inspiration behind Calleo. I'm so proud that the Calleo team can now provide similar memories for others. The power of remembering our loved ones and the funny moments at weddings through Calleo is so special.
