My customer asked if I could make his lovely wife a cake with all of his family on it.
I thought a plain round cake with all of the figures on would be a bit boring so I decided to make a sofa as the cake and add all of the family.
You wouldn’t believe how long this has taken me to make but it was all worth it the birthday girl’s daughter said she cried when she saw it.

Have you ever fancied having a go at making novelty cakes yourself?
I teach lots of these type of cakes and cake toppers for all occasions at Annabelle Jane Cake School in Bearsted.
The classes are all very friendly and informative with everything provided. Classes range from a couple of hours to all day or spread over 2 or 4 weeks.
We run classes for absolutely beginners, for those with a little experience right up to diploma courses for the more advanced.
It’s a great way to learn new skills and meet other lovely, like minded people in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying complimentary tea/coffee and cake xx

Last year I had the privilege of making a wedding cake for a lovely girl who I’ve known all of her life and this year her lovely mum asked me to make a surprise replica first anniversary cake for the lovely couple.
They got married at the beautiful Preston Court which has a working carousel so a little carousel horse was very appropriate xx
