Let your imagination run wild, create beautiful garden designs and showcase your skills - RHS Malvern Spring Festival welcomes both novice and experienced garden designers, giving a platform to move forward in your professional journey and the chance to design a garden at a prestigious RHS show 🌸
Along with Show Gardens, RHS Malvern welcomes a NEW category ‘Serene Spaces’, offering designers the opportunity to create an impactful, achievable design to inspire within a 6m x 6m footprint. Serene Spaces is the perfect introduction to creating an RHS judged garden. Grants will be awarded for all successful applicants in either category.
During the garden design process, you’ll have a supportive team to help and guide you through your journey.

Take a glimpse into the creative process as the newly designed RHS Malvern Spring Festival Giant Welly undergoes a transformation, ready for its adventures around the Three Counties 🤩 Designed by Gloucestershire-based artist Amanda Steer, the painting depicts planting that reflects our rapidly changing climate. One side of the Giant Welly reflects the need to adapt to wet planting and one side for dry planting, attracting pollinators across both sides, highlighting the importance of working with nature 💐 Spot the Giant Welly as it embarks on its journey around Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire - coming to a venue near you!
Yesterday we held our annual Designer Day! We welcomed prospective garden designers and landscapers to the showground to talk all about building a garden at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 🌳 The day included talks from a host of horticultural and design experts, as well as a tour around the Three Counties Showground to give logistical details about building a garden here.
