Dear Customers and Friends

It is with a heavy heart that I am posting this message to let you all know that after 38 years of business I will be closing the shop on Christmas Eve. 🥲

It has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, the shop has been a massive part of my life, over the last 38 years I have met some amazing people and had so many good times and memories.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to all who have supported me over the years, I wouldn’t have had a business without your support.

I have a clearance sale on as all stock must go so if you would like to call in have a look around see if you can grab a bargain, or just pop in for a mince pie and a brew or glass of wine.

Tonight we’re camping at Glen Coe, it’s our first rainy day, but not put us off 😂😂 we’ve seen 3 Golden Eagles so far this week, so a great treat for us 🤗 Got a shorter walk tomorrow,but it includes one big climb ! Then only one day left after that and we’ll be at the finish line 👍🤞

So tonight is our totally wild camp, it’s very windy, so fingers crossed the tents stay up 🤞but it’s an “unusual “ place to stay 😳 Hoping to get a good nights sleep 😴

Some of yesterday’s pictures, it was an extremely hard day and as you can see from the last photo it got late, we had to put our tents up in torch light at turned 10 pm, we were shattered, and didn’t get a good night sleep.

As many of you know the 1st week Myself and Millie 🐾 will be hiking and camping along the West Highland Way & the 2nd week will be spending recovering🤣
The hike is 100+ miles, as we make our way from Glasgow to Fort William. We will be doing this in order to raise money for Woodland Trust. Please see below our Just Giving page, any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated.

As we heard over the weekend, Monday 19th September, will be a bank holiday for the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and mark the last day of national mourning.

We are in awe of what our Queen achieved during her 70 years of reign, in her selfless service to our nation, her values of honour, dignity and resilience.

Out of respect for Her Majesty and to commemorate her incredible reign, we too will recognise this day as a bank holiday which means the shop will be closed on this day. 👑🇬🇧
