Classics pinks and pastels was one of the bouquets picked up this afternoon. For the last three days collections, the vehicle used was a fully electric van which is great to see. Check out the times newspaper on Saturday for our advert and competition to be in with a chance of winning a six month flower subscription.

Had some nice hydrangea for our perfect with purples. This simple, but beautiful hand tied bouquets went out at the end of the week up to Glasgow and down to Bristol and a few places in between. We’re looking at getting amaryllis in next week. As florists choose the flowers at FTY you always get a wonderful bouquet full of surprises.

We don’t do fancy boxes like some others do, we do environmentally friendly flower deliveries. So when you get flowers from us you get beautiful long stemmed flowers and no plastics anywhere, in fact the whole lot is fully compostable. After you’ve enjoyed the flowers first.

Tuesday last I decided to plant out a teaspoon of the flower seeds we give away with every bouquet we send out. Here’s what’s happened after 6 days, the circle of life has started. We’ll keep you posted as to how they get on and we’ll see if we can attract the bees, butterflies and insects in a few months time. They may even be worthy of going into one of our environmentally friendly bouquets.

Well here they are after a day in the vase, looking very positive and a fantastic colour too. So it looks like it’s official anemone can be put in as part of our eco bouquets ready for national delivery.

So, here’s the result of our test on the anemones we boxed and sent out yesterday. They still look great and the stems are still firm, so they look good to go. We’ll let you know how they do in the vase over the next week or so.
