This is a little appreciation post for all those who helped out with our first event on Saturday "A Night Of Garage Anthems." 🎉 Please have a read as there may be people or organisations who could help you at your private parties or public events.
Venue
First and foremost, we want to thank the Bar 7 team for the incredible opportunity to use their venue free of charge for our first event. Their support has been incredible, and we are truly grateful! 💚 Bar 7 is committed to supporting the community and other community-based organisations. If your organisation is dedicated to serving the community and in need of a venue, we highly recommend reaching out to Bar 7. In addition to their main venue, they also offer three bespoke dance studios. Their space is versatile and suitable for a range of uses.
DJ’s
Next, we want to thank our DJs, DJ EMMA K and James Somerset who were outstanding on the night! 🎧 They certainly delivered bringing us the best Garage music, from old school to new school. If you're searching for a DJ for your private or public events, we highly recommend reaching out to either of them. Both DJs have their own unique styles and specialize in different genres, but both are incredibly versatile. They will definitely bring energy and excitement to every performance and keep your guests dancing all night long! 💃🕺🏽
Decor (Photo Area)
A big thank you to Perfectly Imperfect Parties for the incredible display which again, was supplied for free! Our guests couldn’t get enough of the photo area all night long. If you’re looking for balloon displays, decor, or a bouncy castle for your parties or events, we highly recommend Perfectly Imperfect Parties undoubtedly make your event unforgettable. 🎈
Door Staff
Thank you to Tammy East for managing the door, scanning tickets, handling payments, and distributing wristbands. Even during the rush when things got hectic, she stayed calm and kept everything running smoothly. 🎟️
And Thank you to our security who was also brilliant, making sure things ran smoothly and Tammy was able to stay in control of her role during the rush. 🪪

we’d like to thank Louis McLaren for coming out to photograph the event, and generously offering his services free of charge. 📸Although the event really picked up after he left, he still managed to capture some fantastic photos during his time there and we cant wait to share them with you all! 😊
And finally, we just want to, again, thank all of those that came along, particularly our MC who jumped on the mic to get everyone hyped and on the dance floor 😂🫶You guys certainly brought the vibes and we cannot wait to see you all again at our future events! 🎵😁
