She walked the entire length of Southwell minster (it’s huge btw!)on her own in the absence of her wonderful father who sadly died earlier that year. She’s strong and bloody funny! And I miss her! Sam and Paul got married last weekend. looked amazing in her dress. It was stunning, as was she!
I am slowly coming down from an incredible weekend with so many wonderful people involved.

Design led planning is what I love to do. Creating something unique and a representation of my clients personalities. It’s truly my dream job. I get so excited!!

I worked with these guys for 2 years planning this festival wedding weekend and we totally smashed it. The styling here is so cool and our vision came to life perfectly.

Tom and Annabel’s wedding has been postponed twice, but in September they got married with 30 of their finest friends and family and gosh, it was emotional.

‘ like so many brides, we had to cope with a myriad of change and disappointment. What we have learnt though is that a small wedding is by no means 2nd best’

It was a wonderfully special event that meant everything to Tom and Annabelle because they just wanted to get married. To get on with their life and their love for each other. HAPPY FRIDAY!

It’s been a busy week of postponements and possible date moves which is tough. Not only for my lovely couples but for me. As much as I’m so grateful it’s not a cancellation, it means we have to wait until 2021 to see them get married and plan to most gorgeous of weddings... and I’m very impatient!
But, on the upside it’s Fridaaaay! No more home schooling, no more cleaning and tidying. Time to relax and unwind. Might crack on with a cocktail.... bottoms up! pochciol you look awesome in this shot btw!

SOLIDARITY • This morning I was tagged by .by.the.tail the gorgeous Jess, to post a photo of me as a sign of solidarity for the wedding industry right now. I thought it was apt,given my grid post today, to invite my own tambourine into the lime light! Sweetly made for me by whilst planning her wedding.
It’s a crazy world right now. And whilst being isolated means we get to spend time with our families and loved ones, it doesn’t save those of us in the events industry from worrying about our future for our brides for 2020 and our wonderful businesses.But we are an incredibly strong community that I am so proud to be a part of. I love these images taken by the brilliant . They captured the feel of this wedding perfectly. The warmth of the light. A room full of friends and love. The noise from of laughter was deafening. People bursting into song. Truly a wonderful day. Sophie and Tom’s beaming faces.

We will hear the laughter again
We will be with our friends in a room full of love again.
But for now we must stay safe. Look after each other. Not just our families, but those we work with. For me, the last few weeks have been spent helping my brides and helping our suppliers. Doing everything I can to move what will still be the best day ever. It’s just going to be all the sweeter when it get here. And boy, one hell of a party 🎉

Sometimes, the weather is sent to test us. And my goodness it did in August this year. From 6am to 12am it rained and did not stop but George and Derynn’s wedding went ahead without a hitch. The outdoor ceremony was now a covered one, the canapé reception in the beautiful gardens came indoors. We love a challenge in the events world! And a challenge we got! Thank you so much to an incredible team. I’m so grateful. We did it! It was truly breathtaking. Derynn looked insane! The flowers blew our minds. The food was perfect and plentiful as well as the cocktails that kicked off almost immediately! This was an incredible joint effort. I loved every minute! And these images are everything Congratulations Derynn and George! ❤️
