Daucus Carota - do you grow it? I sow some every Autumn - not all the plants are successful, I often get carrot fly or wind rock but they are looking their best at the moment 😍Amazing patterns if you zoom in close! .... And that little purple flower in the centre 😍😍 Perfect!

Several days of sun and a few of the tuber grown dahlias are starting to flower -
The cuttings have some growing to do yet but I'm very excited for the dahlia season ahead. Lots more to come! 😍

Some gorgeous flowers here at the moment... although the peonies are just finishing, I've plenty of sweet williams and nepeta in the wheelbarrow. They smell amazing 🤩 you dont get this in a supermarket!

Friday Flowers! The ranunculus are coming to end... possibly just the last few in the wheelbarrow today. The flowers are getting snapped up fast but I hope to put some more out after my very late lunch today 😂

I should have ventured on a ladder and pruned the top 😂 but I think thats a job for another day 😝... no wishy washy colours for me, I love the colour on this wisteria, a present from my kids a couple of years ago 😉 Have you got one? I'm not keen on the ladder thing.

Morning all 😊... I've been too busy to post! Ranunculus have been early and my anemones outside have been pretty poor. Although the seedlings in the greenhouse are looking fabulous and hopefully my dahlias will be planted out in a couple of weeks 🤞... someone has promised me some manure for a new dahlia bed😍😍😝 We have rain forecast today but that should soften the ground for some weeding. My garden has been ignored 😂 but the flower plot looks promising😍its a seed sowing day today...anything you wouldn't be without and can be sown in May?

Icelandic poppies! They have been tricky to germinate from the most expensive seed I've ever bought 😂.... I'm hoping I can save some seed this year and get some better luck. You maybe lucky enough to get some in your bunches over the next few weeks. 😍

Friday Flowers! .... I still have tulips 🌷 😍I must admit they have been tricky to grow with this years rainfall but they have been so welcome after having no flowers for so long - they will definitely be on the grow list for next year.

Friday Flowers! Tulips! The doubles definitely are stunners. I don't usually grow many as I find digging them in a chore 😂 just when Im in the middle of packing up the dahlia tubers...so these are in the dahlia beds. Some have come up short despite the rain but this variety maybe worth the effort 😍Whats your favourite tulip?

I've spent the day in the greenhouse, its been on and off rain again, my ground is so wet its hindering my progress. Although I have more colour in the garden daily with the narcissus popping up and the anemones are also starting. I'm not sure how that little spider was dangling in mid air in the first photo but I've tried rubbing him off my phone a couple of times🤣 🌼 🌸

Stuck for ideas for some Hen Party fun, Birthday treat or just a girly get together?!

Yesterday I spent a few hours with a fab hen party group who wanted a morning activity before their evening night out 💃 🍷
We spent a relaxing few hours making Spring table decorations and door wreaths... I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did!
