Dear friends,

After 11 incredible years, we have made the difficult decision to close Time for Flowers. This choice has not come easily, but due to family demands, rising costs, and declining sales, we believe it’s time to focus on our family and other commitments.

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of our story. From our dedicated staff to our loyal customers, your support has been invaluable. We have cherished every moment spent creating beautiful arrangements for you and being part of your special occasions.

Looking back, we are proud of the connections we've built and the memories we've shared. Your kindness and enthusiasm have made our journey truly special, and we will carry those memories with us as we move forward.

For those with upcoming events booked with us, we have reached out separately with further information regarding your arrangements. Please know that we are committed to ensuring you are informed during this transition.

As we close this chapter, we remain optimistic about what the future holds. We encourage you all to continue supporting local businesses in our community, as they are the heart of our neighbourhood.

Oh hello social media, did you miss us??

Big apologies for the radio silence recently 🤦🏼‍♀️ we have been so busy with weddings but I'm back and ready to share with you some of the beautiful arrangements that leave our work shop. The big question is have any come to you this morning?

Just a polite reminder that we are closed till Friday the 23rd of August due to a family holiday.
This means the calendar on our website is blocked off till the 23rd for both deliveries and collections. All messages and emails will be replied to when I return to work

And that's a wrap!

We are taking some well needed time off with our children for the next 10 days. Off on a lovely holiday to make memories with our boys before they go back to school and going to relax (if that's possible with kids) before our next lot of weddings.
Just want to say a big thank you for keeping me so busy these past few weeks, I couldn't do what I do without you all ❤️

So after what has been a manic few weeks I am taking a little break and will be closed this afternoon and all day tomorrow. Mr B is taking me away for the weekend for my birthday and a well deserved break for us both and it's completely child free 😁

So what are your plans for today? It's all about relaxing and recharging for me and my tribe after what has been a very busy week for us all. Films, snacks and a lovely roast dinner 😋

A family affair

Husband and Wife team, Tom and Chantelle along with son Joe and a crew of talented florists and baristas make up the incredibly passionate team that is Time for Flowers.

The business originally began in a small shop in the Westgate area of Morecambe, however, bigger contracts, weddings and general demand created a need for a larger space to host an ever growing inventory of wedding props and also provide a bigger work area.

Originally from Heysham, both Chantelle and Tom always wanted to eventually move to Heysham, but could never find a property large enough to fulfil their aspirations. That was until 408 Heysham Road became available.

The new premises not only had ample room for a large 8 person production area and large retail space, but had room to spare (not to mention the store rooms and offices upstairs). It was then the idea of a florist and combined tea room was born.
