INTRODUCING : MISSY

Missy began her journey in Newcastle just over a year ago, performing with Lively Up. She’s also graced the stages of Big Fat Rave, Chain Reaction, Rood, and Energy Cru. Notable artists she’s supported include 4am Kru, Goldie, Storm, Congo Natty, and Sammy Virji. Missy considers herself a purist for drum and bass & jungle but also enjoys a hint of jungle techno and hardcore. Currently, she’s particularly drawn to darkside dnb & jungle, resonating with big metalheadzy vibes. Additionally, Missy recently embarked on a new venture behind the scenes at Worldies as an event producer within their youth music programme. Their inaugural event was a celebration for International Women’s Day featuring headliner DJ Storm.

INTRODUCING: AMELIA LEIGH

Amelia Leigh is a UKG/DnB DJ and producer known for her vibrant mix of bouncy basslines, choppy drums and energetic 4x4 beats. Headlining multiple sets and playing out on multiple radio stations, Amelia doesn’t mess about when it comes to bringing you all the bassline sounds. Supporting massive names in the scene like [IVY], Serum. In just a year she has secured a residency with Big Fat Rave and manages two events in the city, ‘ROOD!’ and ‘Wheelup’. She has recently just founded an organisation called ‘Intersection’, looking to platform marginalised creatives within Newcastle and diversify lineups.

We return back to as we welcome one of the hottest new prospects in underground music, Efan’s rise through the ranks has taken the UK rave scene by storm, with his tracks spun repeatedly by the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Disclosure, Skream, MPH, Joy Anonymous, Gemi, Prozak and more. As well as some major collaborations with artists like EV and Banditt. Experimenting with his unique sounds, he focuses on UK Garage/Bass, Breakbeat and Jungle.

Introducing: Layla Lu

Layla Lu is a multi genre DJ & singer hailing from the North East. She’s been making her way up the ranks starting from when she was just 16 performing Hip Hop and RnB, to shelling out UKG, Bassline, DnB and everything else in-between across the city like she is today. Whatever the genre - the passion for music has always been ignited. You might of caught her at Lindisfarne Festival or West Ben Fest this year with her diverse range of 130-180bpm selections, we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.

Degs is one of the most recognisable faces in the drum and bass scene and has gained a worldwide reputation, regularly touring across the globe playing sets that never disappoint. Hosting a unique set, Degs has the ability to mix fluently whilst delivering the vocals we know and love.

SubLow presents our first show. Proudly welcoming Badger to Newcastle for his first ever show in the city.
Introducing Badger : Multi genre Dj and producer making music ranging from garage to jungle. Originally from Brighton, Badger stormed into the spotlight this year after making a name for himself in Bristol. Playing huge festivals with multiple sets at Glastonbury, a main stage performance at boomtown and a large number of other festivals. On top of this, Badger had an official release with Vengaboys putting his spin on their hit song ‘We like to party’. Alongside Badger we have some of the finest local selectors with music starting on garage and finishing on tek with everything else in between.

They’ve boasted some huge sets in recent times, supporting artists such as Hedex, Chase and Status and now Badger. 75Hz, didn't find the rave scene—it found him. One cold night in the backwoods of Yorkshire led him to an illegal rave, and he's been on the decks ever since. With a decade of experience under his belt, Kurtis has taken over the decks in multiple cities and has become a regular at Newcastle's World Headquarters Club. Specialising in DNB & hardtek, expect some heavy energy come the 30th. Kurtis is also one of the masterminds behind Newcastle's 'Big Fat Rave,' which has been doing sellout shows every month for the last two years.
