It was an honour to be invited back to cater afternoon tea for Roade bowls club ascot ladies day today 😍
Afternoon tea served to 80 guests. The menu included smoked salmon blinis, Brie and cranberry vol au vents, lemon drizzle cake and meringue kisses ❤️🥂

We are in the middle of our busiest season and most days are spent either in the kitchen with our wonderful team, delivering buffets or at events!

Our first wedding of the season yesterday for the lovely Adam and Kelly! It was great to be back at again 😍

The couple chose their own bespoke menu which included BLT and chicken salad sandwiches, sausage rolls, mini quiches, cheese straws, sultana scones, malteser slice, fruit tartlets and meringue kisses 🤩

Yesterday’s funeral catering 🌼

The family chose our sunflower buffet menu set up on wooden boards and slates. They also chose our vintage China hire and tea lady service.
Our tea ladies ensure guests are kept topped up with tea/coffee, the food is replenished and all the clearing away is taken care of ❤️

This one was a grazing table set up for a special 18th birthday party including a stunning 2 tier cake made by Gemma. Afternoon Tea is a quintessential British experience. A rare and wonderful tradition that has stood the test of time….

As a nation we love nothing more than a fabulous afternoon tea shared with friends and family. Those dainty finger sandwiches, home made scones and cakes all washed down with a cup of English tea, preferably in a china tea cup! Its a combination that just works and will no doubt carry on for generations to come….

Before starting Amys Vintage Teas I noticed there were many options when going out for afternoon tea with lots of different restaurants and cafes to choose from. But nothing where you could have this experience at home (unless you did all the hard work yourself of course!)

So with a little thought and imagination plus a sizable collection of vintage china…. Amy’s Vintage Teas was born and has been going from strength to strength ever since! Proving there is a real demand for the afternoon tea experience to be brought in to the home for all life’s special occasions!
