Show Time Events Group (Northern) Ltd are delighted to announce the relaunch of the Northampton Balloon Festival at its original home at the Racecourse Northampton on 18th, 19th 20th August 2023.

The Balloon Festival originally took place on Northampton Racecourse from 1989-2008 and became one of the largest in the country, with the support of the local community and local businesses.

After several meetings with new balloon directors, Vista Balloon Flights, Northampton Town Council and West Northants Council, David Bailey of Show Time Events Group (Northern) Ltd gained permission for his company to organise and deliver the event as an independent company.

The ambition of Show Time Events Group (Northern) Ltd is to reintroduce Northampton Balloon Festival as a major contender on the ballooning and events calendar once again, for both the balloonists and the event spectators.

As well as an array of balloons on display and flights throughout the weekend delivered by Vista Balloon Flights; further activities will include live arena entertainment, a craft and community marquee, a local produce marquee, charity stalls, circus workshop, catering units, bars, funfair, live music stage plus much more, culminating with a firework finale on Sunday evening.

To establish this nostalgic event and build on its welcomed return, we would like to invite local groups, societies, charities, companies and local businesses to get involved, support or sponsor this iconic festival. Please contact [email protected] to do so.
