Telling couples stories is what I am all about so my films are unque to every couple who books me to film their wedding. It's important that I don't just replicate the same style of filming and editing for each wedding that I am booked for, I approach every wedding with an open mind and clean slate, ready to adjust my approach to ensure the day is captured so that looking back, the quiet moments, the crazy moments, they work to re-tell each couples wedding story unqiuely.
Laura and Sean will always be a special wedding for me, shot just after weddings re-started in 2021, the energy just built and buil before exploding during the wedding breakfast. It'll always be a wedding I look back upon fondly as it was a real 'we're back' wedding and their film really captures the joy and happiness that day.

Laura and Shaun's wedding will always be a favourite of mine. Shot just after weddings were allowed to start again in summer 2021, after so long without parties and fun, it felt like everyone wanted to get back to living and what a party it was. The glorious weather didn't hurt either!

I always enjoy filming at @owenhouseweddingbarn in Cheshire because it simply doesn't matter if it rains, there are so many amazing areas under cover in the barn that you simply don't have to compromise on your wedding day if some of the famous British wet stuff arrives. I've shot some of my favourite weddings at OHWB as they're always super relaxed days there. Let's be honest, the first day back at work can be bit dreary and dull, so there's only one wedding to for it, the colour-fest that was Jemma and Mark's utterly crazy wedding at @heatonhousefarm. This one was Party from minute one (and the capital P is intentional).
Wedding films are sometimes considered a luxury, but it's always nice when I hear things like this (which Jemma sent me)... "Mark said from right from the start we didn't need a videographer. His exact words the other day (as they watched their films) was "This is the best decision and would be top of the list now!" I think that says it all!

Holly and Daniel at the spectacular @capesthorne_hall in Cheshire. Cheshire has so many amazing wedding venues across the county, there's something for every couple from rustic barns, to luxury homes through to stunning period buildings. There's a real sense of drama as you make your way down the long drive towards the Hall. It was a pleasure to film there last summer and I cannot wait to return in 2023 and 2024.

Staying with the Lake District theme, @linthwaitehouse is a luxury wedding venue close to Bowness. Home to multiple Michelin starred chef Simon Rogan's @henrocksimonrogan restaurant, Linthwaite House will blow you away with world class service, food and accomodation. I had a wonderful two days shooting at Linthwait House for Miriam and Matt's wedding, with beautiful weather really helping show off the beauty of Windermere. The venue boasts elavted views of the lake, a private tarn and cuisine that simpy defies words.
