Pay2Fish Ltd

Pay2Fish Ltd Pay2Fish is an eTicketing service for Angling Clubs, Fisheries and Riparian Owners.

08/09/2022

Pay2Fish Ltd has been dissolved.
The effects of Covid-19 and the lack of support from fisheries has meant the business is not sustainable.
I believe the location based ticketing service has value, so if anyone wants to take over the site and assets, these are now available. Message me if you're interested,

Please check the latest rules before you go fishing in England during November 2020. While fishing is allowed as an 'outdoor activity', some of the rules appear to have changed including the new 'Rule of 2'. There is also debate about how far you can travel. Enjoy fishing, stay safe.

Announcement Sunday 10 May

update - Although the government review of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions will occur on Thursday we have been told not expect an announcement until Sunday.
The Angling Trust proposals have been incredibly well received in Westminster and the reaction from MPs to our write in campaign has been very encouraging. Over 7,000 emails from the angling community have now been sent into Parliament and we are yet to hear of an MP who doesn’t support a return for angling.
Thanks for all your support so far. The best way of continuing to support the Angling Trust is to join. https://joinanglingtrust.net/

This week the Angling Trust's published its proposal for reopening recreational fishing while Covid-19 control measures are still in place. This proposal, complied by a cross section of UK angling community, has been sent to minsters for their review and consideration. It is promoted using the hash tag and provides a well thought through 3 stage plan. This is recommended reading and be accessed from the Angling Trust's website at: https://joinanglingtrust.net/when-we-fish-again-latest/

Stage 1, Point 9 particularly caught my attention and recommends: "Online and electronic day ticket payments to be made wherever possible".

If any club or venue is interested in how we can help with a FREE, 0%, NO BOOKING FEE, service, then please get in touch.

We all want to see anglers back fishing legally, at the 6000+ venues across the UK and with clubs, fisheries and venue owners collecting the monies due in a safe and efficient way.

Please stay safe, stay legal and show your support.

Last year Martyn Cattermole and I set up Pay2.fish. Due to personal circumstances Martyn has now stepped down, leaving a gap in the business for a keen angler, who believes in eTicketing and can market Pay2.fish to UK clubs, fisheries and riparian owners. If you know anyone who fits this profile, please get in touch as the service needs you.

Great to see a national newspaper giving fishing this coverage. Next year's update should include venues that can be booked via Pay2fish.

Fly-fishing doesn’t have to be expensive and exclusive. At its best it’s adventurous, wild and (nearly) free
