Spring is coming, it can be FUN time for NERF lovers!

You have blaster, but what's next.

It’s time to build the battlefield. Use boxes in your yard, place tables on their side, set up blankets and chairs to create a hiding fort.

Get creative and create the ultimate battlefield.

Use self-filling water balloons, we suggest placing them into a large cooler right in the middle of the battlefield. That way, each person is taking a risk by running to the middle to grab some. Not only can you be blasted with darts, but you have a chance of getting wet – SO FUN!

This is the most important step – HAVE FUN. Get dad in on the action and enjoy a day out running around and dodging the other player’s darts. Fun in the sun never looked so good!

9 Ways of having fun with NERF!

1.Helium Powered Shoot-Out: Get more fun out of target practice by using 4 or 5 helium inflated balloons with silly faces drawn on them. Make sure they are on strings and weighted so they are on the ground then knock them down with Nerf darts.

2.Nerf Gun Freeze Tag– Use the traditional rules for freeze tag but tag with your bullets instead of hands

3.Pin The Tail Target Practice: Play the classic party game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey but try shooting nerf darts instead of “pinning” the tail. Try it full sighted or blindfolded for more fun!

4.Hopscotch-When we play hopscotch, we throw a rock and wherever it lands you have to skip over that square. Mix it up by shooting Nerf darts at the hopscotch board in place of a rock.

5.Art Attack– Try setting up a large piece of butcher paper or cardboard in the back yard. Then let the kids dip the tips of their Nerf Darts in washable paint. Let kids shoot those darts at the paper for an art attack!

6.Paint Dart Fight– Get the kids dressed in old clothes and let them dip their Nerf darts in paint and have their own backyard paintball game

7.Night Fight– Add some glow to your next Nerf gun fight by turning out the lights and breaking out the glow sticks for a glow in the dark night fight!

8.Take it to the Tramp– Take your Nerf Gun fight to a sky-high level by adding a trampoline for bouncing bullets everywhere

9.Combat Training Obstacle Course– Set up a fun obstacle course for the kids (or have them take turns setting it up for each other) that has targets set up at various points in the course. Have them carry their Nerf Gun with them through the course and stop to hit the targets. You could have the kids do a speed round, accuracy round or invent a scoring system to incorporate both!

Will start from the smallest, but very cool blaster - N Strike Elite Firestrike.

The Nerf N-Strike Elite Firestrike blaster features light beam targeting so battlers can aim with precision even in low-light conditions. Load 1 dart into this single-shot blaster, activate the light beam to zero in on a target, then pull the trigger to fire.

The light beam works on targets up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) away. Even in bright-light conditions, battlers are ready to take on the competition with this compact blaster that fires darts up to 90 feet (27 meters).
