That's a thumbs up to the end of induction week 👍🏼
We had a fab week of getting ourselves set up and ready for our floral journey over the next academic year.

Today we had an afternoon trip out to Ramsdens Floral Supplies to gather our essentials for tools kits, gain some insight into the industry and what exciting new sustainable products are available. Neil was a fantastic help as always! Thanks for having us 👍🏼

The timetable sessions starts next, looking forward to meeting all our other new starters and welcoming back our existing students!!

We've had a fantastic day out at UCLAN with our new HE Students today!
The resources we have access to, both online and on-site are so essential for support. From a jam packed 24hr library, online ebooks and journals, private study space, financial and career advice, and even enrichment activities and clubs!
AND we even got a free goodie bag full of great stuff to start the academic year!

Just a quick goodbye as I hang my Myerscough Lanyard up for the last time, it’s has been a honour teaching all the students who have passed through the door over the last 22 years. Both FE and HE we have had fun, flowers and friendship along the way with lots of sweets and cake to keep everyone going. Keep shining bright in your floral careers, I wish you all the best

So we have another beautiful instillation, one of our current level 6, BA Hons students Kathryn Naylor - unveiled her Floral Art exhibition. If you are in or around Myerscough College Plant World & Garden House Café till Friday the exhibition will be on for the next few days. The title of the exhibit is named ‘Art is to decorate, music decorates time’ with reference to the pink piano.
The piano can be played and it’s beautiful to hear customers and students throughout the garden centre tickling the ivories to some memorable tunes. Feel free to play 🎹 🌸🩷

Fantastic day with the level 4 group today, creating large scale floral designs using methods, we discussed the importance of (together everyone achieves more)

Continuing our 'Wear it Pink' Charity Week 🌸, we're actively exploring ways to make a positive impact. Our learners led the way by generously donating their incredible Pumpkin arrangements to support Breast Cancer fundraising.

The group decided to show their appreciation to Susanna with a special Act of Kindness, courtesy of Milly, Lola, and Grace.

We all love a ‘Susanna pep talk’ and the way she infuses everything she does with sparkle and smiles ✨✨🌸.
