It’s a blind tasting, which is much more fun and we love this opportunity to check in with our couples with their plans!

Our new Spring Wedding Fair is set for April 14th!

We are looking forward to opening our doors on Sunday the 14th April from 11am-3pm to our 17th century barn overlooking the
South Downs National Park with our own freshwater lake set in 120 of Farmland! With not one, but two barns under hundreds of twinkling lights that blends rustic charm with your own personal touches.

If you recently became , please come and meet our amazing team to give you a tour of our venue and meet our trusted suppliers showcasing everything from photography, live music, DJ’s, caterers, florists, bridal wear, tablewear, prop and décor, garden games and accommodation.

If you have already booked Southlands Barn we look forward to welcoming our couples and their families back to the venue and introducing you to many of the amazing suppliers we recommend for your special day.

Have you met Kevin our Koi fish? Kevin is responsible for a couple booking their 2025 wedding with us, so we feel he deserves a big shout out. He currently resides in our cattle waterfall tank in the courtyard, but he might be getting his own penthouse soon with all this commission. 📸

Holy Cow,

We are regional finalists for the The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) for Best Wedding Barn in the Southeast!!

This award can only be voted for, by couples who have married with us in the last 12 months, so this award is personal!!

We put our all into every wedding.

We have laughed with you, we have danced with you, we have had shots with you and oh lordy, we have cried with you (all good tears obvs)

For really only our 4th year, and to be nominated for a second time this year for Best Wedding Venue is absolutely incredible.

We maybe bias here, but we really do have the best team, who go above and beyond each and every day, not only wedding days.

So thank you all, for all the love and support you have shown our amazing team!!

Now, bring on the awards night on the 21st of November where we will see if we can bring home the bacon (or beef) for the second time this year!!
