We are a family run business & have been trading for over 13 years. We are able to provide all you need to make your party go with a BANG !!!!!! We have costumes galore for you to choose from so whether it's an 80's party or cowboys and Indian's there's so much to choose from. If you have little people that need to go to school dressed as a Tudor or an Egyptian or whatever it is the school like to

drop on you at the last minute we can help there to...

From a single balloon as a treat for the grandchildren to a large air filled display for that someone special and everything in-between we will have you covered...

As you are all aware we closed in April to pursue other things. We'll all our Fancy dress stock has been bought and will now be at The costume shop in Herne Bay. Business in a Box... Our whole Fancy Dress shop is boxed up and is a fantastic opportunity for someone to open up their own business. If you are in Thanet you would be the only Fancy Dress shop as we were the last one left. We didn't close because of lack of business at all there is a very high need for this kind of business and would be a fabulous opportunity for someone. We are moving abroad so this is why we are selling.There are over 65 large boxes of Fancy dress stock 46 of them are Adult and Kids every day costumes and accessories galore to which I have a stock record for. The other 20 odd boxes are of Halloween and Christmas stock which was already boxed up so no record of what's there,but there is alot. I've added a few pictures.

☆SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT☆
After trading for just over 14years we have made the hardest decision & its with great sadness that we are closing our shop with immediate effect.
Although over the last 3 years we managed to survive the Covid 19 pandemic, now with the added expenses of increased energy prices and the effect of the cost of living crises it is just not substantial to keep the shop open.
We would like to thank all our loyal customers for all your custom and support over the last 14years.
*** PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ORDERS THAT ARE BOOKED IN WILL BE FORFILLED AND READY ON YOUR DATE AND TIME FOR COLLECTION AS NORMAL FROM THE SHOP.

All orders that have been placed will be forfilled.

Our Story

The Big Party Store is the place for you. We are able to provide everything necessary for your perfect party ranging from a simple foil balloon to a large latex balloon arch. We are also able to assist you if you are planning a wedding, in choosing the right balloon decor to suit your venue. We will do our up most to colour match to your chosen scheme. Simply bring in a colour swatch and a member of our team will help you. Please check out our photos to see what we are able to create. We are able to deliver orders if necessary. Simply let us know if you require this service when booking your balloons. Delivery is free within the local area when you spend £25 or over. Otherwise there is a fee of £5. Themed party? We also have a fancy dress department which stocks a large range of themes. Feel free to contact us on 01843 853 115 in order to find out whether we stock what you need. If we do not, then we will endeavour to order it in for you if possible. We also offer a cart for you to hire and dress with sweets, cheese, gin, pimp your prosecco or even Pimms. We will deliver this for you to use as you wish and collect when you are finished.

We have now also added personalised products to our range. Balloons, tshirts, tote bags, decals for wedding shoes, glasses are just a few of the items that we offer. Ask in store for details.. We are based at 1a Newington Road, Ramsgate. Our opening times are:
