Wow where did January go? Blink and its gone! Just a couple of highlights included providing the production for some fantastic conference events, more live rugby broadcast support and screen presentation as well as providing tech support, sound and ground lighting package for the amazing Amy Lou, Stephen James and suppprting Martin Kemps 80s night. If that wasn't highlights enough our team were also back on the road providing tech support to the UK's first immersive escape room dinner tour! That's just the highlights of the month too without mentioning the dry hires and week in, week out jobs we support!!! Some equally great events to come in February so bring it on!!!

Well what a running start to 2024 - the new office and unit is now operational (although far from tidy and organised as yet!) And we've been out on tiered seating, broadcast and conference jobs none stop so all is good... Talking of conference jobs don't forget we not only provide sound, lighting, stage and video but we can also build custom stage sets, screen surrounds, logo walls and more.

Wow what a weekend! Not only did we FINALLY regain control of the page after a long while and lots of facebook battles but we also had the honour of providing screens, an outdoor stage, 3 pa systems and venue support to a number of events celebrating the Kings Coronation. No rest just yet though! With 3 back to back conferences this week we are back on the road!

Well what a year 2022 was! It was a very different year for us to the past years but definitely in a good way. Landing an install contract that would tie up the team for most of the year working on a large entertainment centre down south, then there was moving units and all while still doing conferences, award evenings, outdoor stages, music events, tiered seating, LED screens, halloween, online streaming and outside broadcasts for the world cup...and oh oh oh! not to forget spreading the christmas cheer with Christmas light switch ons! 😉

Thanks to all our clients, freelance staff and team that have helped us through this year and we hope 2023 will be bigger and better for everyone!

Well a couple of long days across the country at the end of the week have all been worthwhile with England winning their first match! Our outdoor LED screens have been out in the grounds of hotels, pub gardens and other venues allowing fans around the UK to cheer on their preferred teams. Here is just a small snippet of some of the screens in use with more to come this week.

As screens are being prep'd and heading out the door on hire ready for the Football we thought we'd post up the video from Bekah's performance for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend which was recorded in our studios with other tracks and is now it's BBC iplayer. It's nice to be back out on events!!! And with the way the weather has been today we are glad it's an indoor job we are doing for a studio in London who will be shooting a music video. We can't reveal who, what or where or post any pictures of the finished results just yet until it's released and in the public domain but what another great job to be involved with to get us back into the world of events... it's not long now until our festival teams and covered stages will start going out too so lets hope the weather improves and we have a great summer to see the industry as a whole bounce back from covid.

Alot of the bookings our studio is used for is often private team building events, family gameshows, corporate presentations and awards or musicians recording content or audio for future use so we don't get to show the output all the time. So when something is released we are always excited!

It was so great to work with Bekah and her amazing team of dancers and musicians recently for her BBC Big Weekend promo and other pieces for her showcase in our studio. Not only did we provide the studio space but the production ready for the editors.

Such a talented team of singers, dancers and musicians who were a pleasure to work with and I'm sure they will go far! Hopefully we will get to work with you all again soon!

Think we need a bigger tech space 😂😂😂 it was a pleasure to have the UK & Europe's Scare Industry Awards held at the studio this evening. It's also a pleasure to have a studio job we are able to post about! So much of the studio work tends to be for private meetings it's nice from time to time to have a booking we can show off! It also makes us miss the industry sooooo much!!! Roll on Halloween!!!

It's great news we have hit the next milestone and more restrictions will be eased from Monday!

The office has been a hive of activity recently with plenty of quotes for outdoor LED screens for the football, festival stage packages and a conference or 2! It's so good to see once again.

Now all eyes are firmly on the next milestone in June when hopefully all restrictions will ease and numbers of people on events will increase which will see our busy summer of festivals kick in once again!

It was almost like pre-covid times today with vehicles and kit prepped and out the door to aid local elections.

Our team are proud to have provided flood lighting, barriers, PA systems and other event equipment at a number of sites for local election centers ensuring people can cast their vote safely at polling stations and that the count can happen efficiently and clearly through the night.

Well with retail and none essential shops opening back up today it's another step closer to some sort of normality and we wish them all the best. Lets hope the road map continues and events and festivals can resume from 17th May and more restrictions ease before the summer and onwards! As much as we love our new studio setup, live streaming and virtual conference control you really can't beat the atmosphere of a real event!!!

So the end of next month will be a year since we started to build our LiveStream Studios ( ) in Redditch having been stopped in our tracks by Covid19 with the event industry as a whole crippled and ground to a standstill!

How time flies!

Well while they have been very popular most of the stuff we do here is corporate gameshows/team building, music videos and albums yet to be released and virtual control of conference presentations or awards - so basically private none Facebook friendly but sometimes we do get permission to show stuff produced here and Mitch is always one of those clients happy for us to do so. Well done to Team Driveandlive for a fantastic first weekend of Cinema and live music. What a fab atmosphere it was. Bit of a strange "New Normal" without a main PA system instead sending the broadcast quality audio to the cars and headphones via our FM transmitter but we managed very well and its so good to be back out providing stage, lighting, screens, power, barrier and fm transmission on events. The audio you hear on the video is just the artist stage monitors so they can hear each other and the backing track.

A busy weekend in the studio with it being used for the Official John Bonham Celebrations - Led Zeppelin Interactive Lockdown Quiz on Friday and then to stream a DJ club night on Saturday. We've had a few enquiries from corporate clients looking to reach out and connect with their customers too so it looks like "Enfield Studios" are on the up! With prices from as little as £50 per hour including equipment and technician its a great way to reach out.

It is a very tricky time for all industries right now but as always events are always the first in and last out and this is no exception. The industry was one of the first to be hit by the pandemic and it will be one of the last to be able to recover. Many event companies, theatres, entertainment and music venues, circus, leisure venues, entertainers, freelance technicians and a whole variety of other staff and venues are all struggling right now and as a very small cog in a very big wheel all our thoughts and best wishes are with each and everyone that makes up this incredible industry.
