Warning Rant enclosed:
It’s an event like like last weekend when I wonder if the entertainment industry is really for me. Being hurled abuse at whilst people think they have the right to jump around with drinks spilling on my equipment then they wonder why I’m not smiling and jolly. Blocking the exit and being vocally agressive.
As a female I do feel at times I am subjected to more abuse as people feel I should just accept this.
I have some amazing customers and I won’t let this beat me but there will be some new terms and conditions for my events they are as follows:

- No drinks on the dancefloor (this includes within 3 meters of my Dj equipment). This has always been my policy but now it’s formal.

- Being a customer does not give you an entitlement to play with my equipment if I need to visit the bar/ restroom during the event.

- I reserve the right to pack up at any point without providing a refund should I be subject to abuse/ threats by guests who do not respond to 2 warnings. I will of course try to resolve this situation with the party holder prior to this. (This would only occur in extreme circumstances where myself or my equipment was at risk)

- General respect to be given to me as you would be expect to receive yourself.

- Doors are not to be blocked by guests on exit out of the venue with equipment.

I am here for you all to have a good time and make it a night to remember. I am saddened that I feel the need to post this.
