Tomorrow see's the first of three Metro Bank One Day Cup games held at Rugby School this August. With Warwickshire County Cricket Club vs. Surrey Cricket taking to the field.

Gates open at 09.30am.

A few notes for those attending:

- There is no parking on site. Please make yourself familiar with town centre parking options before your arrival. The ground is only a 2 minute walk from most parking options within the town centre.

- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on to site, but please be aware that we are a glass free venue. There will also be a number of catering options within the ground.

- There are chairs available on site, but these are limited in number, so please do feel free to bring your own!

Tickets for the Metro Bank One Day Cup fixtures being held at Rugby School this August will go on sale at 10am tomorrow (30 April) online at tickets.edgbaston.com.

Tickets will also be available via the Edgbaston app, which is free to download on iOS or Android.

Adult tickets £15, while under 16s are free (with a paying adult).

Warwickshire County Cricket Club is coming to Rugby School this Summer! 🏏

For the first time in almost a decade, Warwickshire is taking professional cricket in to the community and we are thrilled to be hosting three Metro Bank One Day cup games against Surrey (2 Aug), Yorkshire (11 Aug) and Nottinghamshire (14 Aug) on The Close.

Not only will our community have the opportunity to watch some first class cricket being played, but there are also plans to include fun cricket sessions for children during the interval, mascots and Guards of Honour involving local youngsters, and off-field activities.
The Club also wants to use our partnership to create a cricketing legacy in the town and inspire the next generation of players through free coaching sessions at leisure and youth centres delivered through the junior All Stars scheme.

It's the month of love and the countdown is on until the official day of love, next week - Valentines Day!

We're BIG on sharing the love and together with Rugby School Sports Centre and our amazing caterers Chartwells Independent we're doing another give away for our wonderful community!

Next wednesday we will be offering a free hot drink and cookie to anyone that wants one (until they run out!).
We'll be positioned at the sports centre in Horton Crescent in the morning and at the Queens Gates on Barby Road in the afternoon.

We hosted our first wedding tasting of the year at the weekend….some beautiful weddings in our diary for 2024!

On November 18th, a legends rugby match will take place at Rugby School, where it all began, in aid of Cure Parkinson’s.
This event will not only celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the game, but also the 100th Anniversary of the famous match that took place at the School when an England and Wales team played against a Scotland and Ireland team.
Mike Tindall will be captaining the England/Wales team.

We have two sets of 4 tickets to give away to this sold out event!

This October half term we welcome to the Temple Speech Room the world premiere of a historic opera, 'Elena e Gerardo'.

Random Opera are the first company to perform this 19th century masterpiece by Marianna Bottini and will be joined by a 26 piece orchestra at Rugby School on Saturday 28th October.

Last week our brilliant tour guide Angus, welcomed students from the 24th edition of FIFA 's Master programme to Rugby School.

It's a pleasure to welcome these students to visit our school and learn more about our rich sporting history, the evolution of football codes, rugby union and Pierre de Coubertin's vision for the modern Olympic Games.

Exciting times ahead!

We’re delighted to share the news that we have broken ground on a new co-educational boarding house for 80 children!

Designed with the children in mind, including a helter-skelter-style slide that the children can take from the top floor to the bottom floor, the project is scheduled for completion early in 2025.

It has our environment in mind, melding into our amazing 90-acre classroom and existing Victorian buildings as we celebrate our 150th year!
