For those of you who saw my story on Tuesday working the twilight, this is what we were working on; a six interlinking arch and two single arches decorated both sides with plant materials.

Thank you to my team members for joining me.

Event or any work always starts with the planning. For me this has been a rollercoaster of a ride as it has all happened through emails; conference calls and just one site visit meeting with Marina & Emma when the event details were being finalised.

Normally if it’s a venue or archway I’ve not decorated previously I would make a site visit first. But I know the venue well and the arches were being made by . I had a phone call with Andy from to gain further information about the structures but it was only Tuesday evening I actually got to see them. Thank you Andy and your team for your help on Tuesday evening.

So in a way I was “working blind” and not actually certain what I was working with especially for inside of the bases. Even though I had a couple of contingency plans in place there was just one occasion where I had to “think on my feet, out the box” and what I came up with worked perfectly.

The colours are the branding colours of EY, the flowers theming in with the Australian area with in Mediterranean Biome. All plant materials are in water sources ensuring that they are all sustainable and environmentally friendly.

One big Thank You to Michael from the science team who has inspected every single stem microscopically to ensure that they are free from pests and diseases so that I was able to them.

Last Thank You’s to my suppliers Nick, Tony & Merel and especially my husband when my phone rings in the early hours when I speak with Lee, Russell or George.

Freya choose soft blush pink roses, ivory spray roses, astilbe and gypsophila florets for her bouquet. The bridesmaids had ivory roses themed in with the same flowers as the bridal bouquet.

Hasn’t today turned out to be gorgeous warm sunshine?

Here’s looking back to a sunshine filled day to the beautiful wedding day of Lyndsey & Dean. Thank you Lyndsey for sending them to me.

The bridal bouquet was a rustic country style design with a specially made keepsake added. I love the way mum admires the keepsake on the bouquet and her just giving the finishing touches to Dean’s boutonnière. The photos certainly speak for themselves showing what a fantastic day they had celebrating.

Wedding cake alongside a beautiful Thank You card and surprise gift from Rachel & Paul for their wedding flowers last week. Thank you to for both so much it means so much and greatly appreciated.

One extremely happy florist especially one who loves cake and more so wedding cake; now doing her little florist jig. What more could a girl ask for?

The bridal bouquet had placements of beautiful roses surrounded by spray roses and freesias.

Our handmade confetti cones were filled with a mixture of our dried fresh petals.

The ceremony area was full of pampas grass; the bridal party bouquets had beautiful roses and touches of pampas grass. The arch which was for a photo backdrop was decorated using asymmetrical fresh and dried.

Lovely to see with her gorgeous cake and so nice to catch up with and looking forward to seeing the professional photos.

A soft palette colour with a pop of pink was chosen by the bride to compliment her beautiful dress. The flowers within the bridal bouquet were beautiful roses; spray roses; lisianthus and waxflower.

For those that know me, know I don’t like having my photo taken and always stay out of the limelight. So today I got out of my comfort zone and braved the camera.

I had the pleasure to be a team member for and worked alongside and in Salcombe.
