🌻What can I say... my first summer holidays owning a shop and being mum for 6 weeks!! 💚
I didn't know what to expect! BUT I actually put myself first AND we've got through it.
I have probably neglected the shop a bit, not responded as quick to messages and also not been available as soon as I'm asked. However I've been as busy as ever and actually feel like I've given the girls the best summer holidays possible.

I'm looking forward to getting back into the shop and mostly catching up on admin. Here are some photos ot August In the shop.. and

Two years married.

Designing and making my OWN bridal bouquet was so difficult. I Have made so many beautiful bouquets over the years I just didn't know what I wanted.
I weirdly hate the colour red but ended up basing My whole wedding around sunflowers 🌻 and the contrast the red had against them.
Now this bouquet will forever be my favourite

When Emily married Dan. May 2024.

A beautiful outside ceremony and tipi reception. Neutral colours, Whites, creams and lots of foliage. We decorated the tables with bottles of flowers, two milk churns and an arch way to say their vows under.

Have to say I really like this one ,
A beautiful Wreath for decorating your home with a touch of Halloween 🎃 not to much so it can be more then just seasonal .
Again this is a one-off and would look lovely in anyhome or on a front door if undercover .

It's been a busy August for Gwens Garden. Even though I took time out of the shop to spend with the girls it really didn't make a difference to how busy we were. Which Is great news and has made me realise I may not have to stand in the shop every day to get orders. Thank you to everyone who has ordered online, on the phone, on my website or popped in on the days I was at the shop.
Im enjoying a bank holiday off so will reply to messages on Tuesday 🌻🎈

Some photos of yesterday’s wedding flowers .
I absolutely love making tear drop bouquet’s with a handle a beautiful traditional shape yet this time a very original mixed of colours to work with the hint of blue delphinium I thought was a fabulous choice of colour.

I also set up and decorated the tables at the stunning The Barn at Pengelly with fresh eucalyptus, flower jars and flower heads.

Thankfully rain had stopped by lunch time, I have no doubt Aaron and Tammy had the best day. 😏 Congratulations .

Last week I made and carefully packaged this beautiful artificial sunflower bouquet.
Destination.... Gretna Green.
This Is the 2nd artificial bouquet in a matter of weeks that has made the journey across the country.

The request was for natural/wild with a splash of yellow to pick up the grooms Cornish tie . . This was rather a special wedding order for us as these flowers would be travelling to the romantic village of Gretna Green , Scotland. Emily sent us such lovely photos to show off what can be created using artificial flowers…. Would you of guessed these were silk ? I was very pleased with the movement in the bouquet and as a bonus after the wedding you have them to decorate your home with too . The table runner also artificial/silk overall was approximately 4mtrs long . Congratulations to the Bride and Groom you looked amazing. #weddingflowers #wedding #silkflowers
