This weekend we’re off to the March Wedding Showcase at the beautiful Bowood Hotel on Sunday. We’ll have some of our favourite flavours of gelato with us including Salted Caramel and Mango Royale and of course all the toppings!

We’ve been to to stock up on all your favourite flavours. Salted caramel was definitely a hit last year. And we’ve picked up some more delicious Mango Royale which is dairy free. Now to resist eating it all!

Thank you to everyone who’s helped make our first Summer wedding season a lovely one 😊

We’ve had a great time meeting you all and serving lots of delicious gelato.

Things don’t stop when the sun goes away though. Throughout the Autumn and Winter we’ll be busy chatting to wedding venues and working on our soon to be designed(!) website.

We’re available for birthday parties and other special events all year round. Who says you can’t have gelato in the Winter ❄️

We’re often asked if we have any dairy-free options, and we’re pleased to say we do. They’re very tasty too! Recently we’ve been serving mango royale made with rice milk, and two flavours of sorbet – peach and raspberry and lemon. Deliciously refreshing – here’s our mango royale! We also offer strawberry and mint sorbet and chocolate sorbet all from the Lacock Dairy Get in touch if you’d like to ask about any dietary requirements, we’ll do our best to help.

We love using our Zeroll scoop which was first made in Ohio back in 1935. Inside the handle is a fluid which warms up when heat is transferred from the user’s hand, making gelato or ice cream easier to serve. It’s a brilliant invention!!

It would be wrong not to try some ice cream when you’re on holiday wouldn’t it?! It’s all in the name of research obviously. We’ve been coming to Croyde in North Devon on family holidays for almost 40 years. Here we are outside Croyde’s changed the a bit in that time, but the ice cream and waves are still some of our favourite reasons to visit.

If we can cycle or wheel our trike to your event then we will! This has got to be the closest wedding we’ve catered for, in a field just around the corner from home.

We also travel further afield, covering an area approximately 45 minutes from SP3 in Wiltshire.

Here’s some of our vanilla gelato in the sunshine today. It’s like ice cream but a bit more luxurious. It’s got less sugar, less air and less fat.

We get it from and are currently serving chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and cherry ripple which has been really popular this year.

We have lots and lots of toppings! Flakes, sprinkles, little bits of crunchy chocolate biscuit and jelly sweets.

Welcome to the page for Treats on a Trike. We’re a family business based in Wiltshire. I set up the business this year after going to a friend’s wedding in Scotland and being inspired by an ice cream seller there. Thanks !

⭐️ Helping people have a happy time at their event.
⭐️ Swimming in the sea - I’m from the very north of Scotland so no sea is too cold for me!
⭐️ Cats - we have a 15 year old rescue cat called Mollie (she doesn’t serve the ice cream!)
