We are absolutely delighted to share with you all that we managed to raise £1769.34 at Disco Bingo for !!!!

Thanks to your help online through the go fund me, the attendees at the event and everyone involved , it couldn’t have been possible without you all and we’re extremely grateful as a team that you made Disco Bingo the experience that it was❤️

Hey hey!
Incase you haven’t received our poster in your emails or seen on social media, we’re looking for volunteers to help us out on the night!
The list above highlights a few jobs were looking for on the night from ticket checks to general supervision, no experience needed!!
As you can see for level 4 and 5 students this is a great opportunity to get your volunteer hours in, however you don’t have to be a student to volunteer, just contact us with a CV! Times of the jobs highlighted may vary, so you may not have to be there for the whole time which is great (however more than welcome to stay and enjoy). Brief sessions beforehand to hand out roles etc will be needed, and on the night prior to the event!

Our Chosen Charity!

Cavendish Cancer Care is a charity based in Sheffield which help people during their treatment with cancer, through providing support, counselling and therapy for individuals of all ages. Cavendish put on a range of fundraisers throughout the year including bake sales and marathons. The charity solely run on the publics donations, and that’s when you guys come in! Our event will be raising money through ticket sales, raffles and our go fund me page. Without the help from the public, cavendish would not be able to do the work it does for the community. If you would like to buy a ticket to help us raise money please check the link in the bio. Additionally If you cannot attend but still want to donate please follow the link in bio and find the section of the ‘go fund me’ every penny helps!!

MEET OUR VENUE!

Disco Bingo will be on the 25th March at the incredible venue that is Sheffield Plate!
Sheffield Plate in Orchard Square opened in September 2021. With its spacious floor plan and seats to socialise, drink and many food options to choose from we thought it would be the perfect venue for you guys to visit! This venue also host regular live music events, games nights and more! If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? Oh right! Our event!! hello beautiful people. In aid of Cavendish Cancer Care and for the final year of my degree, me and my team of events management students will be hosting a disco themed bingo night with the goal of raising money for the charity. Before we can get the balls rolling we’ll need to to raise £1000 to cover event production, and that’s where you guys come in 🙂.

We are just over the halfway mark and would like to thank everyone who’s already donated or shared! To promote awareness and freshen up my look i’ll be dying my hair any colour based on what you guys want once we hit £750 and a disco themed tattoo once we hit our goal of £1000. As if that’s not enough all donation £5 or above will automatically enter you into a raffle to win a quality one step polaroid camera worth £100. For an extra chance at winning simply follow and share the post tagging me or my team for an additional entry.

All money raised will go towards an amazing cause with providing support for families struggling with cancer.
