It’s the first ever National Florist Day on Saturday 8th June. An industry wide celebration of Floristry and the people who work in it! 💜
I love being a Florist. Working with flowers everyday, discovering a new variety you haven’t seen before or a particularly delicious colour combination never gets old. And it’s a pleasure to help the people of Skipton and beyond to mark occasions and life events in the way that only flowers can.
To celebrate we’ve designed a special bouquet! It’s available in the shop from today until Saturday (while stocks last!) and is full of gorgeous seasonal stems, at a much reduced price as a little treat!

We are having a little break over Easter to eat chocolate and relax. Back at it as usual on Tuesday 2nd!
🪴Plants…🪴Now the weather has warmed up a bit and the shop is no longer sub-zero we’ve had a big delivery of some lovely new plants!
There’s something to suit every budget - from adorable mini Bromeliads up to a huge Peace Lily and we try to choose things that are going to be low maintenance and easy to look after at home!
We’re happy to give advice - our number one tip is NOT TO OVER WATER!💧so feel free to ask away if you have a struggling plant or pop in and pick up a new one!

It’s been a busy couple of days at Berries! Our drivers are out and about delivering all your orders and we have a few bouquets left in the shop for anyone last minute!

As we limber up for Valentine’s Day, a quick reminder that a) It’s next Wednesday! and b) if red roses aren’t your thing no problem! We’ll have a big selection of lovely stems to create something different for you.

2023 has been a rollercoaster, it’s coming up for a year since I took over and we moved to Newmarket Street. Since then we’ve had some challenges (a lot of them involving phone lines and broadband..) but it’s been the best year!
A massive thank you to all of our customers and neighbouring businesses for your support. I really am so grateful to each and every person who chooses to spend their hard earned money at Berries.
