Come watch our annual charity gigs at the Stags this weekend! We have some fabulous bands playing, comprised entirely from Livesoc bands! All proceeds will go towards helping the people of Ukraine

Hey gang,

We have recieved word from SUSU that it MAY be possible to run in person events this month👀 Societies are being encouraged to run events for students who are staying here over Christmas - starting on Saturday the 12th. We would like to hold a jam on the 12th if there's sufficient interest, so let us know if you'd be up for joining in by filling in this quick form:

For obvious reasons SUSU needs to make sure any activities that do happen are very COVID secure; to make this jam go aheadwe may need to put some extra measures in place, and it's not 100% guaranteed that we would be able to run the jam at all, so don't get your hopes too high :/

This form is just to gauge approximately how many people would be interested in attending a potential jam on the 12th of December if we were to host one.

Hey everyone,

This is the announcement we all knew was coming - "societies and other social activity won’t be able to happen" due to the impending national lockdown, so that means no jams for the foreseeable future :(

We have come up with some fun ideas for upcoming online events (details to be announced shortly) so we can still all hang out :)

Form of jams on Saturday 31st, and Sunday 1st.

Saturday 31st (the plant pot): TIMES HAVE CHANGED 12:00 - 2:30. - An extended jam to celebrate the spooky day of Halloween, in which the committee will be dressing up as well as anybody else feeling like getting into the Halloween spirit.
- Halloween themed songs are going to be performed, so please message in the Facebook group as there are spaces available in some of these songs and we want to offer the opportunity for everyone to take part.

Sunday 1st (the cube): 3:00 - 6:00.
- The usual Sunday jam in which anything goes.
- A dedicated acoustic section typically lasting 30 mins.

(A few available spaces still, send us a fb message if you would like one, will be a first come first served basis though).

Sunday - The Cube @ 15:00 - 18:00
(We will be also having a dedicated 30min ish acoustic session during this time slot).

If anyone signed up to LiveSoc with an "interested membership" a few weeks ago, the trial period for that has now expired. It was great to see so many people signed up - we had around 100 interested + official members at one point!

Hey again guys, I hope you enjoyed the first few jams this weekend and have got a taste what its like to perform in front of others. If you enjoyed this weekend or didn't get the opportunity to perform yet sign up with the google form for next weekend and come again! Same form as last time, plus a few additional questions for us to improve allocations.

Please try fill out the form by Thursday evening (22nd) so I am able to allocate everyone a slot and aim to release the time slots Friday morning. If you wish to make changes to the time or day you want to attend, that will enable you to have the time to do so.
