It’s always an honour to be asked to make a wreath for someone dear who has passed. This wreath has laid under thick snow for almost a week but now has pride of place in the churchyard. I think she would be proud especially as some of the foliage came from her own garden.

We are all for advocating a refresh rather than throwing away so we were more than happy revamping this client’s much loved winter wreath that she’d used for many years. She was delighted with it!

Another two wreaths going out to very happy customers this week - a more traditional wreath with plump pine cones and baubles on the left. On the right we managed to preserve these gorgeous hydrangea heads which really elevates this country cottage wreath.

Our preparations for Christmas start in the summer when we harvest and slowly dry allium heads. Beautiful as they are but magical when they are sprayed!

We created two of these gorgeous 2 foot long swags to dress the fireplace around a woodburner. The rosehips really set them off and we love the dried alliums.

Sometimes, it's just a simple swag that has the most impact. This beautiful bunch still contains more than six different types of foliage and is created for a kitchen window with a jute loop and narrow ribbon.

How many different kinds of foliage can you spot in this fabulous wreath? It's not uncommon for us to use more than 10 different greens - and blues, and yellows! - in our bespoke wreath making. The wired ribbon completes this look.

A beautiful wreath created for this cottage door on a moss covered frame. So many different greens incorporated here then eryngium maritimum - sea holly - and emaranthus caudatus - love lies bleeding - for the finishing touches. 😍
