In an attempt to find a platform in Stirling for up-and-coming performers, ready to take the next step after the open mic circuit, The Cave of Wonders has been free of cliques, fashion, trend and genre-bias since its beginnings in the Spring of 2012. Since then, we've seen hard rock bands, whimsical folk, stand-up comedy, country, ska, blues, punk, reggae and trad folk - with the occasional poetry

reading thrown in for good measure. It's a showcase, not an open mic, with several acts of high quality playing full sets each month, with no admission charge. Soon to be featured in a BBC documentary - so come along next time to find out why they thought we were worth taking a look at.
